SS501′s Park Jung Min recently guested on MBC Every1’s ‘Jung Bo Suk’s Chungdamdong 1 AM‘ and revealed that he has never been on a date or had a girlfriend since his debut.

Park Jung Min began, “After we debuted in 2005, I’ve never had a girlfriend. I did, however, have someone in mind.”

Kim Hyun Joong becomes a college student!

It’s just been revealed that SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong enrolled in a college earlier this year.

In March, the idol-turned-actor was accepted into Chungwoon University as a stage production business major. Fans were surprised by this new info, since Kim Hyun Joong previously dropped out of high school to fulfill his dreams as a musician. After putting his education on hold, he decided to enroll in the university as part of the class of 2011.

Kim Hyun Joong’s Malaysia and Singapore tour end nicely!

As the face of skincare brand The Face Shop, Kim Hyun Joong has just finished touring Malaysia and Singapore.

He arrived in Singapore on the 1st of December and undertook fanmeetings and interviews with Singaporean media for the next two days. On the 3rd, he went to the IMM Sky Garden to greet over 2000 female fans, signing autographs and taking pictures. He is said to have donated a large chunk of the proceeds, $18,000, from the event to the World Vision charity.

SS501 fan meeting ticket sold out in 10 minutes

Early this week, SS501 had announced that they are going to hold fan meeting in Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and other Asian countries yet to be confirm.

Tickets were sold out within 10 minutes at Sang Myung University for Seoul fan meeting. Their agency is now considering about to hold another fan meeting after this success sold out tickets.

The duo signed with B2M Entertainment to begin their solo activities but SS501 will be making their comeback in early 2011.

Since “Playful Kiss” is currently releasing special web episodes through Youtube as a response to the high demand from fans, Kim Hyun Joong discussed the significance of Youtube in spreading awareness about Korean culture.

SS501 to go on Asia fan meet tour

SS501’s Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong will be holding six fan meetings across Asia prior to beginning their solo activities.

Starting in December, the two will be holding fan meetings in Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Japan. While only six countries have been confirmed, there is a possibility for later additions if the tour is in high demand from foreign fans.

Having recently signed with B2M Entertainment, the two stars will be taking this opportunity to greet their Asian fans before their upcoming activities. They also plan to thank their fans for their continued support, despite the fact that the SS501 members are split up between different agencies.

The fan meeting tour will begin on December 4th at the SangMyung University in Seoul. The two plan to have a mini concert and a dialogue session with their fans.

U-KISS’ Kibum and SS501’s Hyung Joon to open an online store

Idol brothers Kim Kibum (U-KISS) and Kim Hyung Joon (SS501) recently announced their plans to launch a new online store.

Kibum and Hyung Joon opened an official site for their new company, HnB Company, back in September 2010. They created a toy character named ‘Piro Piro‘, whose merchandise will begin selling soon.

Kibum revealed,

“We’ve always been interested in design, so I got to start a business with my hyung. Since we will be directly creating the designs and selling the merchandise, we’re really nervous. Yet I’m highly anticipative of the outcome. All we need to do now is to officially launch our new online store.

At the moment, we’ve already managed our factory orders, rented a business office, and employed our staff. I showed the sample products to the other members, and they said the character looks like our maknae Dongho. I’m hoping we’re able to do well enough to start getting offline orders too. I’ll be working hard with U-KISS as well, so I hope for everyone’s anticipation and interest.”

Back in August, Kim Hyun Joong and Yoon Eun Hye got together for Basic House casual look for their Fall collection. Now, the two have reunited once again for the Basic House Winter collection.

Some of the photos include items from the jelly beans and candy manufacturer Jelly Belly which is fitting as the concept is “Colorful and Sweet.”

‘Playful Kiss’ will continue through YouTube

MBC’s ‘Playful Kiss‘ came to an end on the 21st of October. Though it didn’t succeed in its ratings, the drama definitely had some fans that were disappointed to see it end so soon.
However, ‘Playful Kiss’ will be releasing special episodes through YouTube as of November 2nd. What’s even more exciting about this announcement is that it will have a different storyline than the TV version!
The drama ended its run on MBC last night with a rating of 5.9%.
